My future goal in life is to better my country by pursuing a career in the field of law enforcement. Becoming a FBI agent has been an aspiration of mine for quite some time. While watching the different representation of law enforcement on television and in movies, I felt a desire to pursue a career in that area. I have been accepted into Delaware State University and will begin in the fall of 2006. I will major in criminal justice, which will make me one step closer to my goal and career. My generation is the future, and America depends on us to be the best we can be. Attending college will broaden my horizons and teach me to be more independent and prepared for the future. After collage, I plan to become a successful FBI agent. I have large expectations for myself, and I want to be the best in everything I do. I feel that I am a very responsible young woman with the confidence and integrity to do anything possible. My favorite quote is "whatever doesn't kill you, will only make you stronger". I live by this quote everyday. Being strong, and keeping you head up high is necessary in my eyes. During high school, I participated in a couple of dancing activities such as the majorette squad, and the pom-poms squad. I absolutely love to dance. Also during the school year I handled two jobs and still managed to keep my grades on point. I believe that hard work always pays off at the end. I greatly appreciate this scholarship award from Power in Praise Ministries.

Thank you.
